Recently, a friend told me about Influenster. It is a website where users share their reviews about products across various categories Based upon a member's social media impact score, users are sent deluxe and sometimes full size products to use and review. A better social media impact score allows the user to receiver higher quality products.
Upon joining Influenster, I connected all my social media accounts and I received my social media impact score. Then, I was asked general questions about myself and my interests. Based off of my interests, I was given a brand that I had used before and then I wrote reviews about one of their products. After exiting this tutorial, I explored the site some more. Each member has different challenges. Since I am a new member, my challenges help me learn how to effectively use the website. My current challenges are to write reviews and upload pictures of products that I use. Other things a user can do to participate in the website is to create lists of products and ask questions and communicate with other Influensters. There is not guarantee that a member will be sent a box of products to test, but the more a member participates and is active on social media, then the better chance they have of getting awesome samples and prizes! Sounds like a great way for companies to promote their products while getting authentic feedback! I am looking forward to learning more about Influenster and hopefully I can start improving my impact score!
