Introduction to Marketing Analytics


With the rise of artificial intelligence, knowing how to study and present analytics is becoming more important than ever.  While artificial intelligence produce numbers and fancy graphs, it cannot present a personal touch to the report.  By becoming well-versed in various analytics tools, a marketer can secure their position within a company by becoming a valuable asset.  A marketer can present information in a way that allows management to understand what is being presented, and how they can move forward from there. 

While there are a lot of different analytics tools that are available as free downloads or as additional aspect of a website, it may be advantageous for marketers to also learn to use premium software that not everyone has access to.  It may be worth it to invest in software, and their accompanying books, that goes above and beyond.  While it may seem like a lot of work learning how to understand the overwhelming amount of numbers, it will pay off when you are a marketer that can not only explain what the numbers mean, but the why aspect as well.
