Collaboration is another great way to garner traffic. Collaboration can also save you money and, sometimes, time. This is a great tool to use if you are just starting out. Find other people who are just as passionate and want to talk about similar topics as you. Or perhaps branch out into a topic you've never covered before because you don't have the authority to discuss it, but maybe your new collaboration partner does! It's a win-win scenario too. You are going to be advertising for them. Hopefully they will share they that are collaborating with you too. It's an even bigger win for the person with less followers because hopefully they can gain some new ones through their collaboration partner too!
Videos, podcasts, photos. There are a myriad of ways to increase traffic to your site and share your work through many channels. It is up to you in how you use your blog and what works best for you. It will take time. In a society that is so used to instant gratification, sometimes we can forget this. Keep focusing on the authentic creative process and this is the work that will shine the most!
