Week 4 - MKTG 348 - Artificial Intelligence in the Job Market (AI - Blog #6)

Artificial Intelligence needs to be taken seriously.  Some people are pessimists, some are optimists in regards to AI.  Everyone, however, needs to be a realist.  Everyone needs to realize that AI is here to stay and there is no telling just how "far in the future" the next advancement could be.  Find as much data as you can about your career and its future opportunities while considering artificial intelligence.  Will you still have a job with artificial intelligence?  Will artificial intelligence make your job harder or easier?  Will you be able to have a better job with advancements in AI?

There may be no telling.  However, it is important to invest at least time and effort into studying trends about your career.  Consider all of the data that you collect and try to figure out now how you can make improvements to yourself to become an invaluable asset once AI becomes a household feature.  Or service. Or person. Additionally, how will those around you perceive AI.  If you can help yourself first overcome the fear of an AI takeover, you can help others sooner.  Not everyone is going to be as well-prepared as you.  While this has a larger effect on people's lives, the country, and global economy than could be adequately described here, how can you take your future into your own hands now so that you can help others in the future?  How can you advocate for artificial intelligence to be taken seriously now instead of when it is too late to help everyone?
